Introduction of Race Field – The Level 60 Instance

After the maintenance in a few minutes, the level 60 instance, Race Field will open. This is a big chance for all higher level players to collect awesome equipments! However, as you may already have guessed, the instance won't be so easy to conquer. Yes, that's right. So before we enter there, you'd better take a look at the following information.

Instance Name: Race Field
The lowest allowed level: 60
Recommended level: 70!
The entrance: Flame Envoy (60, 200 in Timber Town)

Requirements on the entry: A party of at least 3 members. A full party is strongly recommended!
Introduction of the progress: everybody has a progress on the instance. The progress shows the number of bosses you've already defeated today. If the team members have different progresses, their progress will be updated to the fastest one among the team after entering the instance. This progress will be reset on PST 0:00 every day.

Stage 1: The Death Formation
Boss name: Franklin
Franklin will cast a very powerful strike on a certain player every turn starting from the 2nd turn. Players can never survive from the strike, so you can't just wait and got teleported back to Cloud City. The target player must choose a certain command in this turn to avoid the death. Now the question is, how do we know who his target is? Well, he strikes the team in a fixed sequence. So if you can find out what the sequence is, you're not far away from the success.

Stage 2: The Quake Formation
Boss name: Harry
Players need to do high damage to pass this stage. At first you can't see the boss but only 5 pawns. The pawns will heal himself in the next turn if he says that he need some cure. So it will be good to knock him out within the current turn, or the battle will last long. After all pawns are defeated, the boss will show up with another 5 pawns. This time you need to make a choice between whom to attack first. If the boss is left alone he'll summon another 5 pawns again. So the key words will be: don't kill all the pawns.

Stage 3: The Cyclone Formation
Boss name: Isaiah
This Taoist boss has an invisible shield which can protect him from any attack. Players are not able to break the shield so you can never win by yourselves. But don't worry, Melody will help this time. When Melody appears, she'll cast a spell to destroy the shield on the boss. This will take her 10 rounds. Players must cover her and heal her to protect her from getting killed by the boss and his pawns.

Final stage: The Whirlpool Formation
Boss name: Felix
Felix was a fairy just like Apollo. Why did he fall? We don't know but we have to defeat him this time. During this battle, Felix will weaken the players who has the highest ATK/MATK/DEF/MDEF. So if you can make such a team whose highest ATK, MATK, DEF and MDEF abilities are on the same player, only him will be weakened then. Otherwise if the 4 highest abilities are on 4 different players, all of them will be weakened. Also Felix will mention a certain party member's name and cast a powerful attack on him in the next turn. So…guess you already know what to do.

The bosses drop almost no exp but Hierogram Brands. Players can collect these brands and exchange them for excellent equipments at the Flame Envoy. Here's an example of them. You need to collect 3 pcs of the same set to activate the 1st bonus, 4 pcs to activate the 2nd bonus, 5 pcs to activate the 3rd bonus, and all pcs with all +6 or above to activate the last bonus.

You may encounter with mobs in the instance, Amulets bought at the grocers don't work here!
