Unfavorable time for Guild Anti-Evil Activity

Hello GMs,

I really hope this thread doesn't get lost like so many others and I do wish, that guild matters would finally get their own Discussion-Category in this Forum. Perhaps then so many guild matters won't get lost in the crowd of all the Threads posted daily.

I just want to bring to your attention that the guild event "Anti-Evil Activity" takes place at a time slot (GMT-8), that is very unfavorable for most guildies in any guild.

Fact is the majority of my guildies as well as in the entire Community of ZO are Asians, a lot of them are from the Philippines. Their time zone is UTC/GMT+8, which means they are 15 hrs ahead of GMT-8.

The Anti-Evil Activity takes place every Saturday from 1 - 4 pm PDT so if someone from the Philippines or other near by country wanted to attend, that would mean for them from 5 - 8 am on Sunday morning, rather early considering people like to sleep in a little on the weekends.

I recommend to change the time for this event to perhaps 6 pm, thus from 6 - 9 pm. That way almost everyone who wants to attend this event can do so at a reasonable hour.

I hope you will decide in favor of my request and thank you in advance for your consideration.

yeah, in my time, the anti devil activity open at 4/5a.m which is hard for us to find a party to do this quest (and any1 knows what is the reward from this??)

Sorry Syu, i can't tell you the rewards for this, all i know is what the description of the event tells us. Just like you i too have problems finding teams for this event due to the very bad time it takes place. Perhaps the more people post their comments here, the better chance we have changing the time to a more suitable one.

Well some of my guildies did this anti-evil activity last Saturday. They told me that it gaines the Guild gold but i couldn't find out how much. I would like to test it myself to see exactly how it works and what or how much it will gain the guild besides the experience it gained the guildies. When I find out ill post it here.

I agree with Kath, and For me also having difficulty to do anti-evil activity Quest, coz Im in Asia I cant do Anti-Evil Activity coz the times.  

so Far just doing Weekly Quest, Daily Quest, Emerson Quest, Building Quest, and Timber/ore Processing.  

Hope GM can change the time At least make The event twice in a day with different time.

Thx for your input Daydreamer. As the matter of fact your idea is excellent. If the guild system uses a PDT-time zone for North-Americans it would be nice if they implemented a UTC/GMT+8 time zone for all the Asians in this game, its only fair.

So please GMs consider this request.

if we change the server time zone that will be hard for us to follow the events, pig fight for example. it will be hard for us, since the first round started at 6.00am pdt , if it is changed to gmt+8 (6.00am GMT+8) it means i have to wake up at 5 to join the pig fight

Syu I think you misunderstood Daydreamers suggestion or mine for that matter. I wasn't suggesting we change the server time zone in general. This request is only about the time for the anti-evil activity guild event which is on Saturdays from 1 - 4 pm PDT which means for Filipinos for example this would be from 5 - 9 am on Sunday mornings.

Instead i suggested in the beginning of my thread delaying the time for this event to no sooner then 6 - 9 pm PDT = starting 5 hrs later. Or better yet like Daydreamer suggested leaving the time as it is but adding a second time slot that is more suitable for the Asian Community in this game. This way most people of the ZO community would get a chance of attending this guild event at a reasonable hour of the day.

Your quite welcome Daydreamer. I too like this game a lot but it does have its flaws which is to be expected with rather new games. I especially like the guild system in this game but some things could use some improvements so I'm hoping my/our suggestions don't fall on deaf ears.
