As one of our best events, Hide And Seek is coming back in the new expansion with brand new rewards on May 22nd and 23rd!
First of all let’s get informed of the event time:
PDT 6:00 – 7:00 and 20:00 – 21:00 on May. 22nd and 23rd.

Every character can only get one reward from the whole event.
During the event there’ll be 4 rounds in an hour and each round lasts 15 minutes. In every round, GMs will announce an item as the reward and then hide in somewhere, then give you a clue on where he/she is through world channel. That clue will probably be some description of the map he/she is in, but never the exact map name or the coordinates. Players are supposed to find out where the GM is with the clues and trade him/her as quickly as possible! The first player who pops a trade window up will get the reward for this round. So in this event, teamwork is not suggested because you cannot go your own way if you’re not the team leader. If nobody can find the GM after the 15 minutes are gone, the GM will announce the map name as the final clue.
Introduction on gems:
Gems include Pluto Gems, Uranus Gems, Saturn Gems, Jupiter Gems, Mars Gems and many else. They are created using the living skill Gem Machining. Every gem has a random bonus attribute after they’re created, it cannot be changed. If you insert the gem to a socket on the equipments, the bonus attribute on the gem will become yours. However, not every gem can be inserted to any kind of sockets. There’re 5 different kinds of sockets on different parts also 5 types of gems:
Caps – Gloom Embeddable sockets (can be created using Emerald Gimlets (Caps))
Garments – Dragon Embeddable sockets (can be created using Emerald Gimlets (Armors))
Belts – Faith Embeddable sockets (can be created using Emerald Gimlets (Belts))
Boots – Death Embeddable sockets (can be created using Emerald Gimlets (Boots))
Weapons – Eternity Embeddable sockets and Honor Embeddable sockets (can NOT be created)
Embeddable Gloom gems: with Critical Skill, Rage, MP Cost Decrement, Max MP or Hit bonus
Embeddable Dragon gems: with Debuff Resistance, MDEF, DEF or Drop Rate bonus
Embeddable Faith gems: with Max HP or Critical ATK bonus
Embeddable Death gems: with Dodge or AP bonus
Embeddable Eternity gems: with Min. MA, Min. ATK, Max. MA or Max. ATK bonus
Embeddable Honor gems: with Min. MA, Min. ATK, Max. MA or Max. ATK bonus
Gems can only be inserted into a corresponding socket, for example, Gloom gems can only be inserted into Gloom Embeddable sockets. To insert a gem, please hold shift and click the equipment, an embedding window will show up:
High leveled gems provide a higher bonus than lower leveled gems. An equipment with good gems inserted can be total different from before. If you can hardly find a way to enhance yourself, to use gems is a good way!
